Four days, five events, one unforgettable experience. Here is everything you need to know to make the most of the Salsa Caleña Convention Toronto 2026.

Opening Cocktail Night
El Rancho
8pm - midnight​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The convention kicks off with a night to meet, connect, and dance. Join artists, academy directors, and salsa caleña dancers from across North America for appetizers, a welcome glass of bubbly, and live music by Luis Franco. Then hit the dance floor for social dancing with DJ Albert Moreno.​​

Dress code: Cocktail attire. Think dress shoes, and your best salsa night look!

Private Classes

Dance Hub Toronto

10am - 4pm​​​

Book a one-on-one or couples session with one of our world-class artists. One hour, one instructor, fully focused on you. Tell them your level and what you want to work on, and they will take it from there.​​

 

Workshop Intensive

CRE8 Toronto

7pm - 10pm​​​

A three-hour intensive for leads and follows with previous salsa caleña experience. Leads and follows work in separate rooms, diving deep into styling technique with world-class instructors. This is an open level workshop, but it moves fast. Best suited for S&S students level 3 and up.

Age: 12+

Dress code: Comfortable dancewear and dance shoes.

What to bring: Water bottle, extra clothes, and something for personal hygiene after a good sweat.

After Party

El Rancho

11pm - 3AM

The night is not over yet. Head back to El Rancho for an optional after party!

 

Tickets are $10 at the door, cash only. Regular price $20.

Dress code: Come looking as good as you dance.

Full Day Workshops
Columbus Centre
12pm - 7pm

The biggest day of the convention. Six workshops across two rooms, from beginner to advanced, covering salsa caleña, salsa choke, boogaloo, salsa fusion, musicality, and more. Between classes, explore our vendors for food, costumes, accessories, and everything in between. World-class instructors, all day, all yours.

Dress code: Comfortable dancewear and dance shoes.

What to bring: Water bottle, extra clothes, and personal hygiene essentials.

Parking: Parking is available behind Columbus Centre. See the map below.​​

Exhibitions and Social Dancing
Columbus Centre
8pm - 9pm

The evening opens with spectacular performances from some of the most talented dance teams in the country. Sit back and take it all in.

Dress code: Comfortable dancewear and dance shoes.

Social Dancing

Columbus Centre

9pm - 11pm​​​​​​

The floor is yours. Close out Saturday night with open social dancing to the best beats by DJ Albert Moreno!

Cabaret Night
Lula Lounge
4pm - 10pm

The convention closes in style. An intimate cabaret night at Lula Lounge featuring breathtaking salsa caleña performances by world-class artists, live music by Luis Franco, and DJ Albert Moreno closing out the night. This is a 12+ event.
