What is Salsa Caleña?

Salsa caleña is a fast, footwork-driven style of salsa born in Cali, Colombia. It is built on quick, precise footwork, a deep connection to the music, and a joy that is completely its own.

Our Story

This convention started in Cali, on a dance floor surrounded by a community that made us fall deeper in love with salsa caleña. Seeing how much the community had grown in Canada, we felt responsible to open our familia to the rest of North America, and to connect with artists and studios who share the same love for the style.

​

Salsa & Sabor has been growing the salsa caleña community in Canada since 2022. The convention is our invitation to the world to come and be part of it!
